About

My passion for logistics and creatively communicating information to others began at an early age. I obtained a Claude Watson Arts Diploma in secondary school where I gained experience as an Assistant Director in many film projects. I then carried my talents forward into post-secondary education. Initially, I attended the University of Guelph Accounting program. I was drawn to the complexity and management style of Accounting as a profession, but soon realized my creative nature was lacking stimulation. After taking a geography elective in my second year of university and learning about the complexity of the Earth’s systems, I was intrigued. Wanting to learn more, I switch programs which I consider to be one of the best decisions of my life.

Industry Experience

I am currently completing my Advanced Diploma in GIS, through which I had the opportunity to work in the industry and apply my knowledge. Through my educational and work experiences, I have become very familiar with industry leading GIS software such as ESRI suite, ENVI, QGIS, Adobe suite, Microsoft suite, R, Python, SQL, and HTML.

Dronemates

Two years ago, my partner and I co-founded Dronemates Inc, an aerial imagery and inspections company that uses high-end drone technology. Dronemates provides services in film, agriculture, and forestry. Dronemates is currently exploring the world of VR and is in the process of creating 360 videos for an immersive experience.
